What is Kinesiology?
How it works and how it can help
Kinesiology works to empower people to gain a greater understanding and awareness behind their dis-ease and discover negative belief patterns and attitudes that may be holding them back from achieving optimal health and wellbeing.
Kinesiology works through muscle testing. It involves testing the strength of the muscle which is controlled by subconscious brain, as opposed to the conscious movement of our muscles. We can use this muscle test as a way of by-passing the conscious mind to find out what is going on at the subconscious level. Our subconscious level is where we hold our negative belief programs, suppressed emotions and sabotage programs. Bringing more awareness to these patterns and suppressed emotions, is the first step in releasing them.
Kinesiology brings together many healing tools and modalities to support the body in releasing these unhealthy stress patterns, including Traditional Chinese Medicine (such as meridian systems and acupoints), tools from Energy Medicine (such as chakras and flower essences).

How many sessions do I need?
Everyone is different. A stress for one person may not necessarily be a stress for someone else.
It can take time to identify your personal stressors and any new ones that may appear as you progress through care.
Kinesiology works on priority issues; the most significant stress will be evident first and then others will show up as you progress. Not all are able to be identified in one session.
We find that most clients will require 3-5 visits to improve their health. After this we recommend regular appointments to keep on top of stress accumulation and avoid any significant problems reoccurring. Frequency of these appointments depends on the individual and their lifestyle.
